I think the first effective choice is medicine which can release your symptom directly. However, you can also use the cold cloth to cover on the eyes, making the eyes release a little. In addition, the eye drops may help you to reduce the puffiness. Wish you good luck and recover as soon as possible.

When your eyes get puffy, it may be because your eyes are infected by something. So in my opinion, the first thing you should do is to find out the reason and just do a judgment about it. Then you can surf the internet and look for some useful information which can help you a lot. For example, you can find that you should not eat salty foods, because they can make your situation more and more serious. So you should avoid eating them. Also, if your situation is becoming serious, you should go and see a doctor as soon as possible.

Usually, treatments come in medication form for most people, however, there are some home remedies can help you to treat puffy eyes. One good way is placing cucumber slices on your eyes for a quarter because cucumbers have anti-inflammatory properties to reduce the puffiness under your eyes. And you can use a washcloth with ice-cold water to make a cold compress to reduce puffiness. Or metal spoons can be alternative to put them in ice box and place under your eyes to puffiness.
