No, you can't. You'd better go to buy the new bottle of solution. Tap water can't wash the contact lenses for the invisible parasite inside which may infect the contact lenses. The ingredients of solution can reach a lot of functions, such as wiping out pernicious influence, keeping moisture and so on. While the tap water just can increase the germs. Keep in mind that not using tap water to wash the contact lenses.

Absolutely not! In general, people utilize specialized contact lens solution to wash contact lenses. The main ingredient of solution are saline and disinfectant, which can clean and retain the contact lenses. However, tap water has countless tiny microorganisms that can’t be seen by physical eyes, you would be get eye infections if you using it to clean your contact lenses.

Contact lenses can not be washed with tap water because the tap water contains many highly contagious and potentially destructive microbes and these microbes may be causing harm eyesight infection. Thus remember not to use tap water to storage, clean or rinse contact lenses. You should also avoid splashing water directly into the eyes, contact lenses or lens case. Only in this way, you can keep your eyes healthy. Before each time you use the contact lenses, you must clean your hands and keep it dry. You'd better use appropriate soap or disinfectant to wash your hands and use a lint-free paper towel or soft cloth to dry your hands. When you remove the contact lenses from your eyes, you must have a correct disinfection.

Of course no. you should not wash your contacts with tap water. It's not safe for you to wash contacts like that because of the infection. First, you should know that tap water contain so many chemicals which increase the risk to get touched with the dirty objects. When you put the contacts which have been washed with rap water, it will make you infected easily. So if you have no solution, just go and buy another one. You'd better Use solution at all time. Never ever use tap water to clean them. You can get an eye infection. The solution cleans your contact lens and gets rid of germs.

Personally speaking, the way you try to clean your contacts will expose your eyes to bacteria, which is likely to infect you with pink eyes or some other disease. Perhaps the right way to clean contacts is to wash the box with hot water and refill the box with solutions then put the contacts in it. You may find it really troublesome but it is really essential which is critical to your eye health. Try to pay more attention to your eye health and you will be away from disease.

Don't do that. Tap water is unsterile. It contains a good deal of potential destructive microorganism, and may lead to eyesight infection. Do not use tap water to keep or wash your contacts. Also you'd better keep your hands clean when you wear your contacts. Wash your hands with tap water, and wait them naturally air dried. Here is my advice: buy a new bottle of solution for your health.

Pls remember that you should not clean your contact lenses with tap water, and should not swim in swimming pools and take a shower when you're wearing them. Some years ago, I often clean my contacts with tap water, but when I got the Acuvue contact lenses, the pros told me when the lens stays with water, the bacteria, such as the Acanthamoeba, will enter our eyes through lens.

It%u2019s not healthy.because tap water will have microscopic particles that will actually rip and tear your eye, and then the wound will get infected. The contacts make this a problem because the particles will get stuck under your contact, perpetually moving and scratching your eye until it comes out.
