    Many factors can affect intracocular pressure. High eye pressure without treated can lead to glaucoma. Age is a common factor that can affect intracocular pressure. Glaucoma is found mostly in people who are over 60 years old. People with a family history of glaucoma have a higher risk of developing glaucoma. So family history is one of the factors that affect intracocular pressure. High myopia can also lead to glaucoma, thus myopia can also affect intracocular pressure.

    Intracocular pressure, also known as IOP, can keep in balance by the production and drainage of aqueous fluid in the eye. But there are many factors can affect intracocular pressure, leading some eye problems. IN details, age is an key factor that affect IOP. Besides, myopia is also a common factor affect IOP. Study shows that people with high myopia are two or more times more likely to develop glaucoma. Nevertheless, You don't worry about that if you have low myopia.
