I know a way to fix scratches on the sunglasses or any glasses with coatings. If it's just the coating that is scratched, we can turn to Armor Etch to remove the scratches. It works well but it will remove the coating completely. But if there is no coating on your glasses, you'd better turn to other products.

Although you can't removed scratches from glasses lenses totally, you can re-polish them to be less noticeable. Spray Pledge.onto your lenses and rub them with a soft cotton cloth, then rinse and wipe the lenses with a fresh cotton cloth.

If your eyeglasses are made of plastics, you can clean off your glasses with a little kitchen soap and a microfiber cloth. If this can't fix your problem, you might need to turn to professionals to buff out those scratches. They know what kind of protective layer your lenses have and apply appropriate product to remove the scratches on your glasses.

You can use the all-around household helpers such as baking soda or toothpaste to remove scratches from your reading glass or plastic lenses. First, you may need to make a thick paste with baking soda and water (if you don't have soda, use toothpaste for instead). Second, you need to place this paste on the scratches and rub it in a circular motion on the surface of the lenses with a piece of soft cotton cloth. If you have stubborn scratches on your glasses, you may need to repeat this action until the scratches are removed. Good luck!

Dear friend, before applying any product on your eyeglasses, you may need to know that only minor scratches can be removed. If the scratches are very serious, you can adopt buffing to help remove the scratches but this can only make the scratches less noticeable. And as to different material (usually glass or plastics), you may need to know whether they are with coating or not, because some kinds of cleansers will remove the scratches together with coatings. As to minor scratches, you can use a lens cleaner which you can get from either an optometrist or a CD cleaning kit. Or you can drop a small amount of baby oil on the surface of the lenses and rub it with a piece of soft cloth. Hope this helped!

I often take my glasses to the optical shop where I bought my glasses. Last time when I got some scratches on the lenses of my glasses, I bought them back to the shop. The stuffs in the shop helped me to buff the scratches out. And it cost me nothing. They do this for free. If you don't know how to remove the scratches on your lenses, you may ruin your lenses in some way. If your glasses are very expensive, your shop may charge you. But it will not be very expensive.
