Why does a flash of Light appear When I Blink?

there is a quick flash of light when I blink hard in my right eye. It's there all the time and have noticed it for about one year. It does seem to change in brightness when I'm tired. Have you had similar problem? What is the cause for this?

    The light flashes might be caused by certain bacterial and viral infections. Sometimes migraine can also cause the flash of light. You'd better go to see an doctor and have a careful exam.
