The most important disadvantage of daily disposable contacts is they are much expensive than other types of contacts. Also it doesn't allow as much oxygen to the eye as the extended-wear types. At night when you close your eyes, your eyes are no longer exposed to the oxygen in the air and so the amount of oxygen in your eyes goes way down.
Compared to other disposable contacts, daily disposable contacts are much more expensive. They can rip easily because they are very thin. And daily disposable lenses may not be available in all of the different colors. This kind of contact lenses can't correct all vision problems.
