Can regular glasses be tinted as prescription sunglasses?

Can I tint my regular glasses and make it prescription sunglasses? Will it have UV protection after tinted?

    Yes. You can have your regular glasses tinted to any color you want. Just take your glasses to your optician and tell him what you want. Tinted glasses won't block UV rays itself. If you want it to have UV protection, you can ask the worker to add the coating to its lenses, which can protect your eyes from UV rays.

    You can make it prescription sunglasses by tinting it to any color you want. But the color has nothing to do with UV protection. You need to add an UV protection coating to protect your eyes from UV rays.
