You shouldn't wear contacts when you get a fever because they can cause irritation and infection in the eye. When you get a fever, a large amount of germs may develop between your eyes and your contact lenses, which can easily cause infection.

When you get a fever, your eyes will have weaker resistance to these bacteria and they will grow rapidly and affect regular metabolism of cornea. Then your eyes would get infected easily.
