Who made the first pair of aviator sunglasses?

I just wonder who invented aviator sunglasses and how they become so popular in nowadays.

    In 1936, It was Edwin H. Land that first made the anti-glare aviator style sunglasses with polarised lens technology. These sunglasses were brought to the general public in 1937 and become popular in nowadays.
