When ordering glasses online the company would not process order with axis 180 on left and 0 on right. What number do I need to put in to make minimal as possible or override this? Will this make a lot of difference?

Axis is part of your prescription, and tells an optician in which direction they must position any cylindrical power in your lenses (required for astigmatism). The number shows the orientation or angle (in degrees) from 1 to 180. The number 90 means vertical position, and180 horizontal. A higher number for the axis does not mean that your prescription is stronger it simply describes the position of the astigmatism.

Axis. This describes the lens meridian that contains no cylinder power to correct astigmatism. The axis is defined with a number from 1 to 180. The number 90 corresponds to the vertical meridian of the eye, and the number 180 corresponds to the horizontal meridian. If an eyeglass prescription includes cylinder power, it also must include an axis value, which follows the cyl power and is preceded by an "x" when written freehand. The axis is the lens meridian that is 90 degrees away from the meridian that contains the cylinder power.

Cylindrical and Axis stands for astigmatism. CYL= Cylinder= Cylindrical, i is the diopters degree of the astigmatism. This number also has "+" or "-" signs. While Axis, is a number between 0 and 180 degrees, and means the orientation of your astigmatism. There is no sign before this number. Both of Cylindrical and Axis use to express your astigmatism so as to make glasses to correct your vision.
