Is it common to have bloodshot eyes after conjunctivitis?

I had pink eyes and the doctor gave me some eye drops. It has already been one week now and I think my eyes are better now. But when I look into the mirror, they still look bloodshot and they still have pink veins on the sides. Is it normal?

Bloodshot eyes are the main feature when getting pink eye. If you can still see the redness, it means you are not completely recovered. Try to take hot fomentation for ur eye three times an day. It may take 1 or 2 weeks to remove the redness completely.
