How to avoid getting bloodshot eyes while on the computer?

Lately I notice that when I stay in front of my computer for long hours late into the night, my eyes become bloodshot. Is there any advice to avoid getting bloodshot eyes while on the computer?Home remedy would be better.

You should keep your eyes away from the computer screen in a proper distance, like an arm length. Then you should take regular breaks while on the computer, which will give your eyes enough time to rest. For examole, keep your eyes away from the screen and focus on another object or just close your eyes for a while. Then you will have less chance to get bloodshot eyes.
