If your surgery has something to do with cornea, then you can't wear contacts. However, you should go to your doctor to have a check and see whether you can wear contacts or not.

Whether you have a surgery or not, you need an eye exam to determine if you can wear contacts. If you have keratitis or trachoma or other eye problems, you can't wear contacts.
