Can I get an eye infection by sharing eye drops?

My friend bought some eye drops for tired eyes.She used them first and I used afterwards.We are quite careful not to touch the eye itself. Is it possible that I can get eye infection?

Only when your eye touch the eye drop thingy dropper, your eyes have the chance to get infected if you share other people's eye drops. If someone has done like that, you shouldn't use it any more and must thow it away immediately. If don't, then your eye won't get infected. However, you'd better not share eye drops with other people.

There is a poor chance that you may get infected if you don't touch the eyes. But it is better for you to use your own an avoid sharing.
