Can I use eye drops while my eyes are infected?

  Of course not! You should go to the hospital at once! Bacterial eye infections should be treated with prescription eye drops from your doctor, and you should not use the previous eye drop randomly, or you may also have blurred vision.

  I suggest you to ask your doctor at first, and your doctor may prescribe professional eye drops or other medication to prevent infection, reduce inflammation and control eye pressure. But you cannot deal it by yourself.

  If you have an infection, steroid drops might make the redness look better, but the infection could get worse. Moreover, there are many different types of eye drops, each with a different effect and function, so you can't use them freely .
