If you have a strong strengh of prescription which is over 600, it is not recommend to change your regular sunglasses to prescription ones .because the lens will be more thicker if you have a higher prescription which will lead to thicker edge but thinner in the center . the color on the lens will not homogeneous .you can use the clip on sunglasses . if your strengh is low ,most vision stores can do that for you .

There might be something wrong with your sunglasses. Maybe the PD of your sunglasses is wrong or maybe the degrees of your sunglasses are wrong. I suggest you to take your sunglasses back to the eyeglasses store where you bought them. The optician will have your sunglasses checked to see whether there is something wrong with the sunglasses. Or you can have your eyesight checked again. I suggest you to have your eyesight checked in the morning other than in the afternoon, because the result will be more accurate if you have your eyesight checked in the morning.

It sounds like you get really serious problems. If you are not a current glasses user, it might be some discomfort when you wear the first pair of glasses. It may take a few days or even one week to adapt to your prescription glasses. I know you got a pair of prescription sunglasses. So there might be many causes of your headaches. Maybe you just buy a pair of sunglasses of poor quality. They can't block UV rays and glare for your eyes so you may suffer from headaches when you are in the outside just like you don't have any protections. Or the tinted lenses block your vision so that you can't see things clearly. By the way, do you wear sunglasses at home? I think if you use sunglasses at home, you may suffer from headaches because you can't see things clearly. Blurred vision may lead to eye strains and even headaches. Or you have some kind of eye disease so that your eyes can't function as well as they do before. You'd better have your eyes checked too. Good luck!

I suggest you to have your eyesight checked again or have your sunglasses checked by an optician. I also think that you may have some eye problems or there is something wrong with your sunglasses. Maybe the optician gives you the wrong pair of sunglasses or you get a piece of incorrect prescription first. Stop wearing them until you find out the causes. If you persist on using them, your eyesight might be impaired in future.
