Can you tint eyeglasses with a scratch resistant coating?

I have a pair of glasses which have a scratch resistant coating on the lenses.And now I want to have them tinted.Is it possible to tint glasses with scratch-resistant coating on them?

Of course you can.However you may get more scratches when you tint your glasses.I think you can buy a new pair of glasses and let them add the tint and scratch-resistant coating to your glasses step by step.

I am afraid you can't. Add a tint to the glasses which have a scratch-resistant coating will damage the coating.
