How to prevent goggles from falling off in a swimming race?

I'm going to participate in a swimming race the next week, but i'm afraid my goggles will fall off my head during the race thus affect my display in the competition. Is any any way to prevent them from falling off?

The easist way is to put a swim cap on over the goggles,and it does work well for most people .If you don't want to wear the swim cap , make sure your goggles are tight enough before swimming . When you are swimming ,adjust your head position properly to prevent the goggles from falling .

Hold your goggles on with one had and have your other hand lead the dive.
