Can my eye doctor diagnose conjunctivitis and prescribe drops for me?

I am not sure whether my regular eye doctor can diagnose conjunctivitis or not because they usually test the vision problem. And I don't want to go to a specialist.Anyone knows?

Sure, the eye doctor can diagnose conjunctivitis by detecting the changes in your eye with some instruments. Then the eye doctor can prescribe some drops that you need for your optometric health.

Yes.They usually can. If they can't, you'd better go to a ophthalmologist and they will treat for you.

Of course, they can. If you were diagnosed with red eyes, the can prescribes drops for you.
