What is the minimum depth for lined bifocals?

I just bought glasses from another company and, though they showed the frame as being suitable for lined bifocals, when they arrived the bifocal is way too far down the lens (1.25 in. from my pupil) so the bifocal portion is unusable. I have to tilt my head completely back, and I still get blurring from the line!

I want to order from you, but I am not sure how deep, top to bottom, the minimum and maximum distances are to make the bifocal comfortable. I am considering "office/occupational" lenses, is there a difference in size requirements?

This depends on the height of the frame you choose. You can calculate by using the formula: frame height divide 2 and then minus 2.
