Is there any reason why I shouldn't go to Costco to get my prescription lenses?

Costco eyeglasses, namely the 1.67 high index lenses are only $100, but most local optometrists are charging $150-170. Will the lenses be inferior? Give me your full thoughts if possible. Thanks!

The difference between a local optical store and Costco Wholesale, arises from the amount of goods they bring, and therefore the price at which purchase From manufacturers .While a local optical shop buy small quantities of goods and peddle small amounts, actually, lower price does not always mean that is detrimental to the quality.Costco eyeglasses have an extremely favourable price quality ratio, hard to beat and it's ok buying from them.

In terms of quality is okay to buy from Costco, there are two things to keep in mind if you buy from them.If the wholesale is to a large distance from you, need to make a calculation about the costs of gas and everything that involves the way there and back. If you go there only for these lenses, and these expenses exceed 50$-70$ means you do not save any money. Then it is better to buy from the nearest optical store these lenses.Another aspect to keep in mind is that you need a membership to buy at Costco. (Talking about another way of selling).
