Various eye problems such as uveitis, conjunctival issues, scleritis, discoid lupus, sjogren's syndrome and vasculitis of the retina are associated with lupus. Discoid lupus can affect the skin, leaving scars and rashes. The skin of our eyelid is not protected from lupus. As a result, it can affect the eyelid and cause the loss of eyelashes.

I know that lupus may lead to double vision. If we have lupus, we may get retinal vasculitis. The blood supply to the retina may decline. The retina will try to repair the blood supply and it forms new blood vessels. And vasculitis can affect our nerves which can cause the eye muscles to contract. This will lead to involuntary movement of the eye and further cause double vision.
