What Eye Degree Is Legally Blind?

Many people think that the people who can't see anything can be called blind. But I doubt about that. Can you tell me what can be called legally blind?

If a person has a best corrected vision of 20/200, he or she is considered to be legally blind. I also think those people who can see nothing can be called blind too. But to those people who feel that they can't see a foot in front of their face when they remove their glasses or contact lenses, they are not legally blind.

The people will not be considered to be legally blind as long as he or she can be corrected to 20/20 with any kind of visual aid. Most government agencies and health care institutions agree that a person is legally blind if he or she is qualified for the following characters: first, visual acuity of 20/200 or worse in the best seeing eye; second, a visual field which is limited to only 20 degrees.
