Why do perscription Glasses and Contact lenses cost so much, especially contact lenses which are specially required for Astigmatism.

How much have you paid for your glasses would you like the cost of Glasses to reduce.

usually I don't have a high demand for prescription glasses as long as they are in the right prescription and won't have bad effect on my vision . I often order my frames and lenses online which costs no more than $50 altogether . But for the contact,as it has the direct contact with my eyes , good quality always makes me feel assured , the cost is approxiamately $ 200 for one year . but I don't use contacts too much unless in some certain occasions .
