Why is the skin around my eyes burning?

  From your description, it is possible caused by eye infection or allergies. Check if your eyes and skin around the eyes are red and puufy. If they are red and puffy, it is probably an eye infection or allergies. You can apply cold compress to help you reduce the puffiness of the skin around the eyes. Then, make a appointment to an doctor. Good luck.

  Dear friend, you may have an eye infection for eye infection often has the symptoms of burning eyes. The tissue around your eyes is inflamed. You can apply some artificial tears to moisten your eyeballs. Remember that you can't rub your eyes with dirty hands. And you can also apply a piece of ice on your closed eyes. This may help calm down your inflammation. But if the symptoms persist after trying all of these, you may need to see an eye doctor.
