Can laser eye surgery correct keratoconus?

  Keratoconus can cause changes to the cornea so that make it impossible for the eye to focus without eyeglasses or contact lenses. And you shall consult your eye doctor for a recommend the right treatment. As for surgery, i heard that laser vision correction surgery can make the eye condition worse if you have keratoconus. So, don't take any surgery about your eyes before you consult an eye doctor.

  No, as far as i know, laser eye surgery can't correct keratoconus. On the contrary, the surgery can make your eye condition even more serious. To treat it, eyeglasses or soft contact lenses are recommended to treat keratoconus. And the the diseases can make the cornea thin and becomes increasingly more irregular in shape. So, you'd better consult an eye doctor for a properly treatment according to your eye condition.
