How do computer glasses work?

I recently got an eye exam and got fitted for computer glasses. They definitely do help, but when I look at something approximately 5-10 feet away, it is blurry. not so blurry but blurry compared to looking at the same thing without glasses on. is this normal? and is it ok to wear these computer glasses all the time?

Well, to answer that, we have to get into the differences between computer glasses and ordinary glasses. See, the regular glasses you wear don’t really provide the accurate vision correction for the distances typical in computer work. With computer glasses, because the powers are particularly adjusted for the computer vision distances, there is no need to adjust the sitting position in order to see. But if you use it for 5-10 feet away which is more than the certain distance , it will blurry your eyes . So computer glasses are only used for computer work .

To some extent, computer glasses can help people protect eyes. You know, today, most of work need computer. Some people even spend a whole day work on computer. And the computer screen will release strong light, reflective light and glares and so forth that is very harmful to my eyes. And computer eyeglasses lenses can prevent those light to your eyes, thus to protect your eyes. Besides, you can wear prescription computer glasses which can also provide vision aids to your eyes.
