Brussel sprouts are the kind of vegetable that contain the most various minerals and vitamins, which can provide the necessary nutrients for the eyes and help enhance the immunocompetence for the eyes. The vitamin C, and vitamin A in the brussel sprouts can prevent the eyes' crystalline lenses from getting aged and muddy, thus reducing the rate of cataracts. And there is much carotene in the brussel sprouts which can help form the vitamin A. Therefore, eating moderate amount of brussel sprouts can do good to your eyes.
