How quickly does glaucoma progress?

I seem to get glaucoma recently. Does anyone know how quickly glaucoma can progress. Can I do anything to improve this situation?

    Glaucoma refers to intraocular pressure or discontinuous or continuous rise in an eye disease. The increased intraocular pressure can be due to the difference of its etiology. It has a variety of different symptoms of persistent high intraocular pressure to eyeball organization and visual function which damage the parts and cause vision loss and narrow view if not treated. The vision can be lost entirely and even blindness if glaucoma is not treated well. A lot of people getting glaucoma are born to be with. Their glaucoma could be treated through the medical care and everyday diet. Some people with cataracts at their old age may also get glaucoma easily because of the unclear eyeballs. Usually the invisible bacterium in the eyes which cause the eyes infection may also let people get glaucoma. It is such a serious problem. You need to pay attention to it. The glaucoma should be taken highly notice of. Once it is ignored, the result is so serious.

    It depends on the type of glaucoma. Usually it takes one day to cause blindness if you have closed angle glaucoma and let it untreated. And if you suffer it, you may feel severe pain and sudden loss of vision. Also, there is a type of glaucoma progress is chronically. And it can be caught by regular eye exams. Still open angle glaucoma also progresses slowly. Anyway, if you get glaucoma, you shall consult an eye doctor to help you treat it.
