Whether blind people have normal looking eyes depends on the cause of blindness and on what age they became blind. If an adult is born blind, which means their blindness is caused by genes from their parents, the color of their iris will quite normal and their eyes are no different from the normal people. Some people became blind because of accidents. Their eyes may look darker due to the pupil distortion from the accident. Injuries can also make the pupil smaller, which gives the affected eye a paler tone. People who being blinded in accidents may have changed eye shapes. If people turn blind because of cataracts, their eye will look cloudy and paler. However, most blind people have normal looking eyes.
