Usually the eye floaters are caused by the eyes infection because of the invisible bacterium. The eye floaters will increase with the age. You need to pay attention to it. Or else, it may affect your vision. You need to use some eye drops with anti-inflammation to make your eyes get clear. You could also try the home remedy of warm compress. It is also effective.

It is true that eye floaters can get worse as you are getting older. Actually, eye floaters are natural phenomenon for the elder people. Its causes are associated with the aging process. While you are getting old, the collagen fibrils in the vitreous will deteriorate. This is due to the loss in viscosity of the vitreous that happens in elder people. If this condition is left untreated, you may suffer from retinal detachment which is much more serious. Permanente blindness can also be the result. So, if the eye floaters in your eyes are increasing, you should turn to an ophthalmologist to get medical treatment. Vitrectomy and eye floater laser can be adopted. But these two treatments are risky.

After age 65, you can expect to lose about 5 percent of the vitreous %uFB02uid in your eyeball each year. When you lose that %uFB02uid, little particles that would be normally pinned in place because of the pressure begin to %uFB02oat. That's what causes those usually harmless black-dot %uFB02oaters that you may see dancing in your vision. Any change or sudden increase in %uFB02oaters may also be a sign of a serious retinal problem. Call your eye doctor right away.
