  Yes, smoking is bad for the whole body health and eyes. It will affect your health of throat which may affect your eyes. That is why it may cause cataracts or make your cataracts get more serious. You should stop smoking and eat more food with vitamin C to moisture the eyes. You should also have the good rest for the eyes.

  Well, yes, smoking can just lead to cataracts, so people who do have some eye problems should give up smoking. Generally speaking, cataracts occur when there is a buildup of protein in the lens that makes it cloudy. In that way, it will just prevent light from passing clearly through the lens, causing some loss of vision. And according to some researches, some factors that can increase a person's risk of developing cataracts can be smoking, air pollution, and heavy alcohol consumption. What is more, smoking may also increase the risk of age-related cataract, which is the leading cause of blindness and vision loss in the world.

  Smoking is a well-known risk factor for a wide-range of diseases, including cataract, which is a diseases over a person's eyes that prevent them from seeing properly. And the truth is, scientists have evidence that smoking may increase the risk of cataract in reality. The reason is smoking tobacco can cause damage to your health and strike the normal physiological cycle of our body. What's worse, it reduces the supply of antioxidants in our eyes, which may render people who always smoking get cataract much earlier and possibly much worse than people who do not smoke. Accordingly, in consideration of your health, you'd better cut down on smoking.
