Can dust mites cause blepharitis ?

Is it possible to get blepharitis from dust mites? If so, Is there anything that i can do to prevent it?

    Yes, it is very possible for you to get blepharitis from dust mites which contain a lot of bacterium which is invisible. You need to take high notice of hygiene to prevent from this. You should not let yourself in the dust environment. You could also use some eye drops which could make your eyes get moisture and become bright. You could have a try.

    Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids, which is commonly due to an excess growth of bacteria on the skin, blockage of the eyelid's oil glands, and occasionally allergies. Dust mite is a cosmopolitan guest in human habitation that feed on human skin and flourish dwellings. Dust mites can easily lead to blepharitis because it is easy to contribute to allergic reactions. While blepharitis is most possible to be caused by occasionally allergies. So keep house clean everyday is important. Also, personal hygiene should put first. In daily life eat something contain high vitamins to keep eye health and strong some autoimmune ablility.

    Yes, blepharitis can be classified as staphylococcal, seborrhoeic, parasitic or mixed according to the wikipedia. As we all know, there are invisible germs in the air, let alone the dust mites. Once our immune system can not function well, certainly, we will suffer various bacterial eyes diseases based on individual sensitivity. So, dust mites can cause blepharitis not by itself, but the bacteria in them. As blepharitis sucks and can not be cured completely, it entails that we must maintain a good hygiene and clean up the room regularly to decrease the bacteria. Further, if your had had such disease last year, or even several years ago, it would have come back without some particular reasons. Well, you need to care your eyelids constantly.
