You should let your son wash the eyes as soon as possible with the clean water to get the coolant out of the eyes. Then he should dry the eyes with clean cloth. Finding the clean cloth and hot water could also do the warm compress which will be very helpful for his eyes. You should let him have a try.

You'd better take your son to hospital ASAP. Don't worry, it will not make your son blind. And try helping him flash his eyes with running water. Coolant is a kind of chemical material, it will cause eyes uncomfortable. Two much coolant getting in people's eyes can lead to serious eye damage if haven't been treating quickly. Before go to the hospital, you can wash them every ten minute, that will help dilute the coolant. Doctor may prescribe some drops for you.

Well, it will be fine, so you do not need to worry about it. And blindness of course cannot happen to you. And generally speaking, what you need to do is to rinse your eyes carefully. And then you can just wash them out with pure water in a gentle and careful way. Of course, at that moment, if you got eye drops use them, it will just be better. Also, I have to tell you that you may have learned to wear eye protection for next time.
