Is it a bad idea to wear contact lenses?

Okay, so me and a couple of my friends are planning to go to Knott's Soak City ^^. Is it a bad idea to wear contact lenses? I think you're not allowed to swim with them but if water gets into them is that bad too?

you'd better not wear contacts when swimming .cuz if the contacts get loose ,the water will come into your eyes easily and cause infection .what's more ,it is difficult to find them if you drop your contacts in the water . You can choose swimming goggles to protect your eyes .

It is hard to say whether wear contact lenses is a bad ideal or not. If you wear contact lenses to a party or enjoy leisure time, that maybe a good ideal. But if you plan to wear contact lenses for swimming, playing computer games or barbecue, it is a bad ideal. And wearing contact lenses for swimming is very dangerous to eyes because it is likely cause eye infection.
