Can allergies cause eyelids to swell?

I suffered from allergy to my eyes. And also, my eyelids are seems swelling. Is this normal? Is it possible to get swell eyelid from eye allergies?

    People who get eye allergies could also suffer from itchy eyes, burning eyes and watery eyes, and even that cause eyelids become swollen. You are not supposed to get all these symptoms at the same time, but you must experience some of them. Swollen eyelids are the symptom of eczema resulting from overreaction of your skin white cells.
