Eyebright is an herb which belongs to the Figwort family. The herb eyebright has been used for centuries and usually is hand picked in the wild mostly in Europe and some parts of Africa and the United States. Many eye problems, such as ophthalmia , blepharitis , conjunctivitis , cataracts, stye, weeping eye, and bloodshot or strained eyes all can benefit from the nutritional and herbal ingredients that eyebright tea contains. However, eyebright tea also exists some possible side effects. For example, eyebright tea can cause an allergic reaction with symptoms that include closing of the throat, difficulty in breathing, and swelling of the lips, tongue or mouth. Although eyebright tea has a great effect on healing pink eye, it still easy to cause other healthy problems.
