Technically speaking, shutter shades do not have the full power of eye protection. Their main aim is to serve as an ornament to spice up your persona in a party. They may not function as sunglasses and they serve no function of UV light protection (some of which may do), nor they prevent a large amount of light from entering your eyes. So you might feel headaches when you are wearing then in the broad sunlight. You’d better not wear them when driving or in shadowy circumstances. Bad for eyes? Not necessarily. Kanye West once popularized its wearing, and it can add an icing on your eyes.
