Can eyes be allergic to contact lenses?

Is it possible to get allergic eyes because of wearing contact lenses? Why? What are they?

    Yes, it is possible for you to get allergic eyes because of wearing contact lenses. Wearing contact lenses will make your eyes get dry easily. Sometimes the long time wearing of contact lenses will make you get eyes infection easily. That is why you get the allergic eyes. You should stop wearing the contact lenses and change the eyeglasses for you to see things clearly.

    Yes. it is possible to get eye allergy because of wearing contact lenses. And this situation is often occurs when the contact lenses themselves. Sometimes, wearing contact lenses can response of conjunctiva, resulting in redness, itching or mucous discharge etc. In fact, not all people can wear contact lenses. Some people who suffer some eye diseases are not suggested to wear contacts. So, if your eyes are allergic to contact lenses, you'd better get a comprehensive eye exam to know what causes it.

    It is widely acknowledged that contact lenses are safe to our eyes. However, a long time wearing can contribute to severe eye problems, such as redness in eye, pain and unwell in eye, even allergic eyes. Although you think that you have already washed your hands clean, the germs are hard to be seen and removed. So a large number of germs are the factor to lead to allergic eyes.
